Description
Carbodox 15% SC is an insecticide with contact and ingestion activity. Affected insects cease feeding , with poor coordination, paralysis and ultimately death. It is used for broad-spectrum control of Lepidoptera in cotton, vegetables and fruiit.
It is a new class of chemistry with a new mode of action now registered for use on apples and pears. Indoxacarb is in the oxadiazine class of chemistry and it works as a sodium channel blocker. It is a reduced risk pesticide with very low mammalian toxicity and a bening profile for avian and aquatic toxicity. Indoxacarb is a broadspectrum insecticide with activity on codling moth, white apple leafhopper, pandemic leafroller, and lacanobia fruitworm.
